About Patricia

Relocating to Los Angeles in 1993, Patricia soon began to realize that there were increasing numbers of people in need of specialized fitness services in Los Angeles, namely aged people who simply wished to remain active, yet they could not or were not comfortable visiting a gym. Lots of geriatric patients required safe, personal and familiar environment guidance.

Patricia used the integration of her professional experience in the field of gym training with in-home training of elderly individuals to develop a personal approach where seniors could train in the comfort of their homes. This approach eliminates the usual obstacles like transportation, congested gyms, and new machinery, and makes older adults more comfortable and regular with their fitness.

Since the start, she aims to make senior people stay active, independent, and confident with the help of safe and personalized personal trainer in training.

Mission & Training Philosophy

Patricia has already succeeded in her mission of making the life of the seniors better by offering full body fitness programs in the comfort of the house and being the best elderly fitness specialist in home. Her training plan entails flexibility, resistance and strength, cardiovascular conditioning, and most importantly, balance training.

Balance is the fundament of senior fitness because it directly influences the fall prevention and day-to-day autonomy. Balance and stability are two factors that Patricia lays special emphasis on each program. The average age of her senior clients lies between 50 and 90 and many of them have been clients of hers for over 27 years, which is both a test of trust and long-term performance.

Experience in the Fitness Industry

Patricia has more than 35 years of experience within the fitness industry and has a lot of hands-on experience as well as practical knowledge and understanding of the health and movement of elderly people. Her work has been directed at assisting the elderly to cope with physical changes in old age, stay safe and confident.

She has worked with the elderly on fall prevention, vision and hearing impairment, osteoporosis care, back chronic problems and general mobility issues. The training plan is personalized and exercises are fitting, effective and long-term with the help of fitness trainer los angeles

They are Parkinson, emphysema, ALS, Alzheimer, joint replacement, congestive heart failure, heart valve replacement, pacemakers, arthritis and spinal stenosis.

She has also worked with weight loss facilities, assisting obese and diabetic people to better their conditions by means of organized physical activity, correct body shape, and fitness programs that focus on their lifestyles. The adaptation of all training is done with concern, safety and sensitivity towards medical considerations.

Coaching Style & Quality of Life Focus

In-Home motivational encouragement of seniors will enable Patricia to work in the long run on both health and life quality advancement. Her coaching style is very patient, encouraging, and consistent instead of being intense.

She is concerned with behavioral modifications that can facilitate healthy aging such as better posture, more appropriate movement habits, awareness of balance and practical nutrition advice. Through this comprehensive process, the elderly will feel stronger, walk more assured and have a greater sense of control in their lives.
